Arachnid Design was established in Bulawayo in 1996 as a Web design Company (hence the association of the name “Arachnid Design” with the “web”. Soon after this, Arachnid ventured into training and now boasts a very popular IT Training Centre in Bulawayo. In 2003 Arachnid made a strategic move to develop Retail IT skills in Point of Sale Systems.
In 2012 Arachnid Design rebranded to POS Africa to better represent our specialisation. POS Africa’s specialisation can be described as: “We aim to be the first choice retail solution provider in our region, supplying best of breed systems and making a difference to our customers by employing magic people”. We have a staff compliment of 25 in Zimbabwe with a single focus of installing, training and supporting UltiSales Point of Sale and Argility RMS. We have a customer base of 250 customers in all types of retail businesses. Extensive product knowledge combined with local support (including a 365-day a year Call Centre) allows us to make a difference.
